Why EasyProof?

It’s really funny how EasyProof came to be. We, the EasyProof team, were working together, before there even was an EasyProof project, on several web projects that required the review of dozens and dozens of design templates. With the team members being located in no less than four different continents, emails and phone calls were just not an option. So we tried all the proofing solutions out there; yap we’ve tried them all. Some had just TOO MANY features and were too complicated to use (some of our collaborators then were not tech guys and they would have required training), other proofing solutions were way too expensive for the service they offered, and some were just not cool.
One day I told Sunny, our product manager, half joking that it would be cool if we had our own online proofing solution. Three weeks later we had it. It was quite a basic thing developed only for the team’s in-house use, but it worked like a charm; we could create proofs in seconds, add pin and rectangle comments anywhere we wanted on the proof, zoom in and out, reply to comments and share the proofs with our collaborators. It was just what we needed. Soon after we realized that we were not the only guys in need of a powerful, yet easy to use and affordable online proofing tool. And that’s how EasyProof came to be.
In this very first post in the EasyProof Journal, I would also like to thank our users who, thanks to their continuing feedback and support, are helping EasyProof evolve into simply the best online proofing tool. Please continue submitting your suggestions; you will find that all the new features we are adding or changes we are making are based on suggestions YOU made.
